Regional Ombudsman: Harvin Quidas
The agenda for the meeting began with a welcome and the reading of the minutes for the
October meeting. The committee was given an informational fact sheet which covered
items such as the health care registry and the transfer of of assets for Medicaid. Mary
Ann Lewis and Pat Lawler discussed recent experiences with a family member in LTC.
Other agenda items referenced included hospice, staffing, and a CON for 130 skilled
nursing beds. Recent facility visits were discussed and dates were set for upcoming
quarterly visits. January 31 was announced to be the date for CAC Officers' Training.
The meeting was adjourned.
