NEW HANOVER COUNTY PLANNING BOARD WORK SESSION The New Hanover County Planning Department will hold a work session for the County Planning Board on Thursday, November 15, 2007 beginning
at 12:00 noon. in Room 105 of the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Wilmington, NC to discuss the following: I. Text Amendment (A-366, 10/07) – Request
by David Ward to amend Sections 72-31 Commercial Marina, to add a condition that dry storage of boats not be allowed in residential districts. Continued from October meeting. II. Discussion
of the City’s standards for Community Boating Facilities. III. Discussion – Amateur Radio Antenna: explore health/safety/aesthetic goals IV. Discussion – Planned Development District
standards – allowing more flexibility in order to encourage innovative approaches and projects. V. Update – LUP Implementation Status The Planning Board will not be voting on items.
The purpose of this work session is to exchange information regarding the amendment proposals prior to an official public hearing before the Planning Board at their regular scheduled
