Meeting Minutes
Board Members of the Commercial Real Estate Agent Selection Ad Hoc Committee and staff
met at the ABC Main Office at 9:00 AM on February 1, 2012.
Attendees:
Robert Martenis and David Matthews,Board Members
Gary Cain,Retail & LBD Sales Ops Manager
Dan Sykes, CEO
The purpose of the meeting was to interview several commercial real estate agents to potentially
represent the Board.
Four agents were interviewed for about 45 minutes each from a prepared list of questions. Their
names and associated companies are listed below in the order interviewed:
F. Spruill Thompson, Cape Fear Commercial, LLC
Hansen Matthews, Jr., Maus Warwick Matthews & Company
Lynn Harris, Century 21 Brock&Associates
John Hinrichs, Commercial Real Estate
After the interviews were completed, the Board members narrowed the list down to two agents.
The agents selected will be ranked by the Board members as primary and secondary. The
Committee's recommendation will be taken to the Board at its regular meeting scheduled for
February 21,2012.
The Committee members agreed to adjourn about 3:30 PM.
