Minutes of 031313 Port, Waterway and Beach Commission
Minutes of March 13, 2013 3:30 pm
Members Present: Chairman Dave Weaver, Neal Andrew, David Cignotti,Jim Dugan, Lara Landgraf,
Howard Loving, Steve Shuttleworth, Nicholas Silivanch,Tom Wolfe.
Guest Present: Dennis Barbour, Kim Hufham,Jim lanucci, Layton Bedsole, Kathleen Riely,Tyler

Chairman Weaver called the meeting to order. The minutes of the meeting were approved.
Brief updates were provided on:
• the fund balance;
• the Carolina Beach Inlet/AIWW contract;
• Coastal Storm Damage Project Updates.
• Very tight schedules
• Extension requests likely
Extended discussions were held on:
• Port, Waterway, and Beach Commission Charter edits;
• Figure Eight participation;
• Voting members;
• PWBC voted for equal votes City vs County
• Dave to meet with County Mgr. to discuss
• Shoreline Maintenance and monitoring potential;
• City questioning value
• Supplemental info. Sent on 14th
• Shallow Draft Inlet permitting strategy.
Chairman Weaver adjourned the meeting at 4:45 pm.
