Chairman Blackley asked if asked if everyone had a chance to review the minutes from July 17, 2014 meeting and if there were any questions, comments, changes or corrections. There were none. Chairman Blackley asked if there was a motion to approve the minutes. David Yanacek made a motion and Michael Core seconded. All in favor; none opposed. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS: AVL Chairman Blackley asked if there was anything new on AVL; David Yanacek he hasn’t had any updates from patrol. NEW BUSINESS Chairman Blackley asked if anyone had items for new business. Chairman Blackley reminded everyone there is a meeting in Sunset Beach September 10th regarding 911 Surcharge and the NC 911 Board is soliciting input from all the agencies regarding expansion of use of funds. Chairman Blackley asked if there were any new business items. No one had any. OTHER ITEMS AND REPORTS 9-1-1 Center Chairman Blackley asked Warren Lee to update everyone on the Center. Warren stated that in October they were going to start a new class. There will be 20 new people in training. There are currently 15 vacancies. IT Chairman Blackley asked for any news from IT. Zach Augustine said they are moving ahead with the migration of One Solution and it is moving along smoothly. They will have a test next week and planning to go live with it on September 30th. Zach also stated they are having some issues with the new 911 desktops; the dongles don’t work with the adapters and they are working to resolve this issue. Zach also mentioned that the recorder contract was being issued to Carolina Recording and they are hopeful the contract would be issued the beginning of September. Change Management Chairman Blackley asked Andy Whitley if there were any new items from Change Management. Andy stated they were going to have a meeting in September 24th; anyone interested in attending to please let him know. The meetings will last from 30 minutes to an hour. One of the items to be discussed is a mobile user logging out but it leaves them “on”. Chairman Blackley asked if there were any other items for discussion. Meeting adjourned at 10:21 a.m.
