NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held by the New Hanover County Zoning Board of
Adjustment on Tuesday, December 16th 2014, at 5:30 p.m., at the New Hanover County
Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Lucie Harrell Meeting Room, Wilmington,
North Carolina, to consider the following:
Doug Reeves, 6301 Castle Hayne Road, is requesting a variance from New Hanover County
Zoning Ordinance Section 62.1-4: Additional Requirements for Berms and for Yards in which
Buffers are Required, to omit the required 20 ft. wide vegetated buffer strips required along the
western and southern property boundary lines of the subject tract. The property is zoned B-2,
Highway Business District. Case No. ZBA-889
