NC Water Resources Congress is tentatively scheduling their DC trip during March 9-10.
NC Beach Inlet and Waterway Association (NCBIWA) is holding the Coastal Local
Governments Meeting on March 16 & 17, 2015 at the NC Aquarium, Pine Knoll Shores.

New Hanover County’s (NHC) Kure Beach (KB) Coastal Storm Damage Reduction
(CSDR) Project Authorization
US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) General Permit (GP) 291 conditions complete
Permit process back with NC Division of Coastal Management (NCDCM)
NHC’s Wrightsville Beach (WB) CSDR Project Authorization
County Commissioner’s approval to be requested on 1/20/15
Mason Inlet Relocation Project
Federal permit modification process continues
NCDCM permit modification drafted easing the “corridor” trigger
Shallow Draft Inlet (SDI) Permitting
Draft NCDCM application under review by stakeholders
Carolina Beach (CB) Reauthorization
USACE South Atlantic Division (SAD) /Wilmington District (SAW) suggested Limited
Re-evaluation Report (LRR) was sent to HQ on 16 December 2014
Local alternative Request for Qualifications (RFQ) undergoing internal review
NHC’s CB/KB CSDR Project Authorizations
