Agency scoping meeting was held on May 27.
Mason Inlet Relocation Project (MIRP)
An overview of the permit modifications, re-consultation and revised management plan is to be
provided to the Mason Inlet Preservation Group.
Shallow Draft Inlet (SDI-5) Permitting
State permit review is underway.
Formal consultation was triggered with USFWS and NMFS.
Shoreline Mapping Program (SMP) 2015
Field work complete.
CB 15-Year Extension (Validation Report)
US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Head Quarters (HQ) guidance not yet finalized.
Non-federal Risk Reduction Plan contractor has been selected and the scope is being
developed.
WB CSDR Economic Update
Wilmington District USACE economic update is under way.
WB Validation Report (Supporting Section 902)
Scope/fee/schedule yet to be developed.
CB Inlet Maintenance Dredging
Mid-summer surveys and shoaled volumes have been requested.
