Port, Waterway & Beach Commission (PWBC) fund balance is ~$1631.98. Balance denotes participation in
thth
the November 16 and 17 Fall NCBIWA meeting at the Blockade Runner on Wrightsville Beach.

Current Efforts:
NHC’s Wrightsville Beach (WB) Coastal Storm Damage Reduction (CSDR) Project
NC Division of Coastal Mgt. (NCDCM) permit application submitted.
Mason Inlet Relocation Project (MIRP)
Fall event permit modification request submitted to NCDCM.
Shallow Draft Inlet (SDI-5) Permitting
Biological Assessment submitted to USACE.
Shoreline Mapping Program (SMP) 2015
2015 data presentation at the November PWBC meeting.
CB 15-Year Extension
The Risk Reduction Plan contract is circulating for signatures.
WB CSDR Economic Update
Wilmington District USACE economic update is under way, due date December 2015.
Inter-local Agreement (ILA)
4th meeting held; the November 2nd Commissioners’ meeting is the targeted presentation date.
FY 16 CB/KB CSDR Maintenance Events
Pre-construction surveys scheduled for early November.
Placement volumes and reaches will be re-evaluated, post-Joaquin.
USACE lidar surveys (mean low water to the dunes) are underway.
