The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has provided the NC Division of Coastal

The Refined Coastal Modeling Report for WBisanticipated in November.
Initiating scope, fee and schedule developmentfor FY18 plans and specs.
Mason Inlet Relocation Project(MIRP)
2016/2017 inlet crossing maintenance event initiated(permitting, plans and specs).
Carolina Beach Inlet Permit Modification
Inshore Dredge Material Management Site(IDMMS)permit developmentisin progress.
Carolina Beach CSDR Project, Beach Renourishment Evaluation Report (BRER).
Risk ReductionPlan(non-federal BRER requirement)anticipated in November 2016.
WB/Kure Beach (KB)CSDREconomic Updateby the USACE
USACE’sstakeholder meetingwasheld on18 August.
WB/KB benefit cost ratios respectively, 7.6 and 6.0.
