REGULAR MON'IHLY MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH
HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD

Present: Mr. ~ddison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. W. Houston Moore, Dr.
J. C. Wessell, Dr. James H. Smith and Mr. H. M. Roland.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
The Health Officer explained to the Board members that the appro-
priation made jointly by the City and County ($5000.00) to pay
three laborers and provide baiting material for the DDT tusting
and Baiting i:ogram would be insufficient to run continuously through
June 30, 194~, it having been understood from the beginning that the
program might be discontinued for one or two months during the winter
months.. After a brief discussion, it was moved by Dr. Wessell, second-
ed by Mr. Roland, that the DDT tusting and Baiting program be discon-
tinued through January and February and resumed March 1 or if necessary
March 15 and continue through June 30. Carried.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
