Present: Chariman James H. Hall,Jr., Dr. James H. Smith, Dr. J. C. Knox,
and Dr. William H. Wagoner.
Dr. James Smith made a motion that an amendment be made on the l-linutes of
April 3, 1963, increasing the maount of $500.00 allocated for Printing, Postage,
and Stationery to $900.00. Dr. Knox seconded the motion. Carried.
There was a general discussion of retaining or retiring Hr. W. C. Haas, who has
been out ill for some time. No decision was made. Also Dr. Davis announced
the resignation of Mr. D. 'II. Fulcher, Assistant Plumbing Inspector.
After a discussion of the budgets, Dr. Knox made a motion that the Board
approve the Tentative Budget of the Board of Health tentatively, also Travel
Al101;ance and Insect and Rodent Control Budget. Dr. Smith seconded. Carried.
There was a general discussion on Fresh Water and Salt Marsh drainage; also
the purchase of a second dragline ~ihich would increase the budget from $12,000
to $24,000. A decision was not made at this time.
Dr. Smith made a motion that the Eeeting ajourn, there being no further
business. Dr. ICnox seconded this motion. Carried.
