A regular meeting of the New Hanover County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board
was held at the General Office at 523S. 17th St., Wilmington, N.. Cr. on March 20, 2008 at
9:00 A.M.
Members of the Board present were:
Charles C. Wells, Chairman
Stephen B. Culbreth, Member
lUchard V. Hanson, Member
Others irk attendance were:
W. R. Williams, Administrator
Brad Williams, Assistant Administrator
Det. We R. Ruefle, New flanover County Sheriffs Dept.
Sgt. S. L. Morgan, New Hanover County Sheriff s Dept.
Jerry Mannen, Attorney to the Board
Mr. Culbreth made a motion that the minutes of the meeting on February 21, 2008
not be read and that they be approved, Mr. Hanson seconded the motion. and Cbairrnan
Wells so ordered,
Mr. Williams presented the sales for the month of February. He reported that the
sales for the month were $2,21.7,873.64 and sales for the twelve-month period were
$30,799,363.87, Monthly comparisons for the same period last year show an increase of
$167,154.81 or 8,15 %. Yearly sales comparisons show a increase of $1,918,334.70 or
6.64%.
Sgt. Morgan reported that for the month of February Law Enforcement conducted
10 inspections of the 265 outlets.
Mr. 'Wells set the date of the next meeting forApril 17, 2008,
Mr. Hanson. made a motion to adjourn the regular meeting. Mr. Culbreth seconded
the motion and Chairman Wells so ordered.
