2009-08-06 MinutesA. regular meeting of the New over County Alcoholic Beverage Control Board
was held at the General Office at 523 S. 117nh St.,,Wil mington, M C. on August 6, 2009 at
8:30 A. M.
Members of the Board present were:
Charles C. Wells, Chainnan
Richard V. Hanson, Member
Steve Culbreth, Member
Others in attendance were:
W. R. Williams, Administrator

Det. Cliff Carroll,N.ew Hanover County Sheriff's Dept.
Mr. Culbreth made a motion that the minutes of the meeting on July 16, 2009 not be
read and that they be approved. Mr. Hanson seconded the motion and Chairman Wells so
ordered.
Mr. Williams presented the sales for the month of July. He reported that the sales
fir the month were $3,025,889.99 and sales for the twelve-month period were
$30,601,815.13. Monthly comparisons for the same period last year show a decrease of
$23,773.02 or .-.78%. Mixed Beverage sales were down $44,260.92 for the month of July,
Yearly sales comparisons show a decrease of $208,390.57 or -.68%.
Det. Carroll reported that for the month of July Law Enforcement conducted 5
inspections of the 255 outlets resulting in I oral warning,
Chairman. Wells set the. date of the. riv, meeting for September 24, 2009.
