12.THE DESIGN BUILDER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF ALL PROPERTY CORNER AND SURVEYING CONTROL MARKERS AND MONUMENTS.MONUMENTS DAMAGED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES SHALL BE REESTABLISHED BY A PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR LICENSED IN THE STATE OF NORTHCAROLINA.
13.DESIGN BUILDER SHALL PROTECT AND MAINTAIN ALL EXISTING TREES, SHRUBS, AND PLANTS, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
14.DESIGN BUILDER SHALL INSTALL ALL PIPELINES, PAVING, WALKWAYS, AND CURB AND GUTTER AT A UNIFORM GRADE BETWEEN ELEVATIONS DEPICTED ON THEDRAWINGS.
15.FOR ALL SITE GRADING, SMOOTH PARABOLIC TRANSITIONS SHALL BE MADE BETWEEN CHANGES IN SLOPE, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE IN THE DRAWINGS.PARABOLIC ROUNDING SHALL APPLY TO ALL CUT AND FILL SECTIONS.
16.FINISHED GRADE ELEVATION AT THE BUILDING FACE, WHERE NOT ADJACENT TO PAVEMENT, SHALL BE APPROXIMATELY 6 INCHES BELOW FINISHED FLOORELEVATION UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

22.DESIGN BUILDER SHALL REPLACE EXISTING PIPE CULVERTS THAT ARE REMOVED TO INSTALL NEW PIPELINES WITH NEW PIPE CULVERTS OF THE SAME SIZE,MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTION AT THE SAME LOCATION AND INVERT ELEVATION AS THOSE THAT WERE REMOVED, AND SHAPE THE DITCH TO DRAIN WITH THEREPLACED CULVERT. DESIGN BUILDER SHALL PROVIDE ANY TEMPORARY CULVERTS THAT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR DESIGN BUILDER’S OPERATIONS. DESIGNBUILDER SHALL COORDINATE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF ANY CULVERTS WITHIN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH THE REGULATING AGENCY.
23.FOR MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT FOR PIPELINES, DESIGN BUILDER SHALL MEASURE HORIZONTALLY OR FROM STATION TO STATION AS SHOWN ORINDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. NO DEDUCTION WILL BE MADE FOR SPACE OCCUPIED BY VALVES OR FITTINGS.
24.PROVIDE A MINIMUM 3 FEET COVER AND MAXIMUM OF 5 FOOT COVER FOR ALL PIPELINES BASED ON FINISHED GRADE. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ONDRAWINGS.
25.DESIGN BUILDER SHALL DETERMINE ACCURATE LOCATION, ELEVATION, AND ARRANGEMENT OF CONNECTIONS OF NEW PIPELINES WITH EXISTING PIPELINESBASED ON ACTUAL CONDITIONS IN THE FIELD, INCLUDING EXPOSING EXISTING PIPING, PRIOR TO FABRICATING NEW PIPING.
