TREE REMOVAL MUST BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLANS APPROVED BY THE COUNTY (ATTACHED TO THIS PERMIT), INCLUDING PLANS FOR MITIGATING THE REMOVAL OF SIGNIFICANT TREES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE APPROVED PLAN MAY RESULT IN A REQUIRED PAYMENT INTO THE COUNTY’S TREE IMPROVEMENT FUND IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUNTY STANDARDS. EXISTING SIGNIFICANT TREES THAT ARE TO REMAIN ON THE SITE MUST BE PROTECTED FROM VEHICULAR MOVEMENT AND MATERIAL STORAGE DURING ANY CLEARING, GRADING, OR LAND DISTURBING ACITIVITIES. AN UNDISTURBED AREA MUST BE RESERVED AROUND EACH TREE AS DETERMINED BY THE TREE’S DRIP LINE. THE UNDISTURBED AREA MUST BE PROTECTED BY A SUITABLE FENCE. 3. IF A PROTECTED TREE IS DESTROYED, SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED, OR DIES AS A RESULT OF NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF THE PROPERTY OWNER WITHIN THREE YEARS AFTER THE CLEARING, GRADING, OR LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITY, THEN REPLACEMENT TREES MUST BE PLANTED ON THE SITE OR A PAYMENT MUST BE MADE TO THE COUNTY’S TREE IMPROVEMENT FUND IN ACCORDANCE WITH COUNTY STANDARDS. 4. THIS PERMIT DOES NOT RELIEVE THE PROPERTY OWNER OR APPLICANT FROM ANY LAW, REGULATION, OR REQUIREMENT OF ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT OR REGULATORY AGENCY.
