1. There were two agencies represented at the meeting. Gwen had them introduce
themselves. County staff introduced themselves. Committee members introduced
themselves.
2. Announcement for General Public
Shane Hartley read the announcement.
3. Rubric Scoresheets
Scott Steinhilber consolidated all the scoresheets from the committee members and
showed the members where the agencies were currently as far as scoring and on the
scatter plot which showed approximately four main areas. Clare Kiley brought up that
there was nothing on the scoresheet criteria regarding an agency's finances and the
financial ability to do the program. Gwen Hill put this on the list to be discussed for
next year's funding. Scott said there were 54 programs that had a score of 3 or higher as
their subjective score.
4. Start Discussing Ineligible Requests
The committee decided to review the agency applications by how the committee scored
them. Application #s 44 & 45 for Legal Aid of NC are for the same program but for
two different positions. This should have been put on one application. The committee
went through 20 applications in three hours discussing the expenses and any ineligible
expense requests which Gwen noted.
