Facilities: Bill Terrell No report Education/Accreditation Committee: Jack Mills Jack proposed that if additional people did not respond as attending that the scheduled friend raising breakfast events for Monday, April 26, 2010 be cancelled. Jonathan Barfield suggested the committee make follow up phone calls to those invitees who have not responded. Considering the results of the calling campaign, a decision to continue or cancel will be made no later than Friday, April 23, 2010. The board concurred with this plan. Director’s Report: Ruth Ruth solicited participation on the Cape Fear Museum team for the upcoming Bellamy Mansion 5-K run which will take place on Sunday, May 2, 2010. Ruth solicited ideas to increase participation and interest. The newly published talking points brochure produced by the County was distributed to the board members. Early voting at the Museum has been light so far. The quarter cent sales tax is likely to fail as an indicator to the light voting. The next board meeting will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the Williston Auditorium, Cape Fear Museum.
