ESTABLISHING THE ZONING MAP OF ZONING AREA #10 -A
OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY DOTH ORDAIN:
Section 1. The Zoning Map of Zoning Area #10 -A is hereby established, said boundary
k being described as follows:

BEGINNING at an old stone, said stone being the northwest corner of Lot #67 of
Heritage Park as recorded in Map Book 7, Page 70 of the New Hanover County Register
of Deeds; running thence from said beginning point, south 67 degrees 30 minutes east
1,233.23 feet, more or less, to the centerline of the Atlantic Coastline Railroad;
thence in a southwardly direction along the centerline of said Railroad 2,500 feet,
more or less, to the former One Mile Limit Line for the City of Wilmington; thence
in a westwardly direction along the said One Mile Limit Line to a point in the center 1
of the Northeast Cape Fear River; thence in a northwardly direction along the said I
center of the Northeast Cape Fear River to a point where the centerline of the
7 Sutton - Castle Hayne north and south power line intersects the said Northeast Cape
Fear River; thence in an eastwardly direction 15,950 feet, more or less, along the
centerline of the aforementioned Power Line crossing U.S. Hwy. 117 to a point where
the centerline of said Atlantic Coastline Railroad intersects the centerline of said
Power Line; thence in a southwardly direction along the centerline of said Railroad
and crossing Blue Clay Road, S.R. 1318, 10,200 feet, more or less, to a point where
i the centerline of said Railroad intersects the southern right -of -way of North Kerr
Avenue, S.R. 1322; thence in a westwardly direction 450 feet, more or less, to the
4 southeast corner of Lot #91 of Wrightsboro Acres, Section 5 as recorded in Map Book
7, Page 1 of the New Hanover County Register of Deeds; thence south 86 degrees 19
minutes west along the southern property lines of said Section 5 of Wrightsboro Acres,
2,550 feet, more or less, to a point that is 260 feet east of the eastern right -of -way
line of U.S. Hwy. 117; thence in a southwardly direction and parallel to said U.S.
Hwy. 117, 1,300 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Harnett Avenue; thence east -
wardly along the centerline of said Harnett Avenue 599.32 feet to a point; thence in
a southwardly direction 1,100 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of said
Lot #67 of Heritage Park, the point of BEGINNING.

Section 2. This ordinance is adopted in the interest of public health, safety,

morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the County of New Hanover, North

4 Carolina, and shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
