The amount of this change order is $135,714.90. Southern Roadbuilders - Change Order No. 2 - Apron Paving 1B- This change order covers econoncrete subbase course that was substi tuted for the cement treated base course. There is no increase in this change order. Southern Roadbuilders - Change Order No. 5 - Apron Paving 1A- This change order covers econoncrete subbase course that was substi tuted for the cement treated base course. There is no increase in this change order. HEALTH/DETOX CENTER Clancy and Theys - Change Orders GC2, GC3, and GC4 - These change orders cover the extension of time on the project, extra work for the removal of existing footings at the Health Department, modifying the width of the Detoxification Center, installation of a manhole on Savannah Court, and reroofing of the Health Department. Barnes - Change Orders M2 and M3- These change orders cover the cost of relocating the air expansion system from the interior of the physical plant to the roof of the physical plan~, installation of a dryer duct in the dayroom of the Detoxification Center, and the installation of a fresh air duct with roof termination cap to the mechanical room. Also the repair of decking and roofing materials are included in this work. The total of these change orders are $ 4,064.00. Cape Fear Electric - Change Orders E4, E5, and E6- These change orders cover the addition of light fixtures in the Detoxification Center, installation of a metallic conduit raceway system in the acute care rooms and examination room of both the Health Department and Detoxification Center, and installation of additional telephone and power outlets to both floors of the Health Department. The total of these change orders are $ 3,087.00. J. J. Barnes - Change Orders P2 and P3 - These change orders cover the excavation and tap existing sewer main beneath Savannah Court with a new 6" sanitary service, and reroute existing vent piping to the exterior via roof at four locations. The total of these change orders are $ 3,358.00. SEWER J. J. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: 1. The Sheriff of New Hanover County shall provide law enforcement assistance to the Sheriff of Pender County through the use of the New Hanover County K-9 unit. 2. WHEREAS, ready and accurate identification of developed property is important for the delivery of general County services, for the operation of commercial enterprises, for the response of emergency and public safety vehicles, and for the convenience of the general publici and WHEREAS, a comprehensive and systematic property numbering system is an efficient means of identifying property within the CountYi and WHEREAS, such a system will promote the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of New Hanover County. THEREFORE, it further appearing that a public hear ing was held on the 2nd day of October, 1989, at which time all persons were heard on the question of whether or not assigning house numbers would be in the public interest, and it further appearing that notice of said hearing was prominently posted in at least two (2) locations along said street, that notice of the time, place and subject matter of the hearing was prominently posted at the County Courthouse, and published in a newspaper of general circulation in the County. NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordained and decreed that the above House Number Assignment be made. Fred Retchin, Chairman " STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF NEW HANOVER IN THE MATTER OF NAMING SEVERAL PRIVATE ROADS ORDINANCE It appearing to the Board of County Commissioners of New Hanover County that consideration has been given to the naming of eight (8) private roads and the renaming of a portion of Myrtle Gardens Drive (SR 1728) in Myrtle Gardens Trailer Park, located in Federal Point Township. Said area is located 1,584 feet south of the Myrtle Grove Road, Piner Road intersection on the west side of Myrtle Grove Road and recorded as part of Deed Book 1224, page 352 and Deed Book 1194, page 1186 and it further appearing that a public hearing was held on Monday, October 2, 1989, at which time all persons were heard on the question of whether or not the namings would be in the public interest, and it further appearing that notice of said hearing was transmitted to all resident owners and prominently posted in at least two (2) locations along each road, and published in the Star News local newspaper, and the Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that said roads in New Hanover County should be named and the naming of same is in the public interest, the description of which is delineated on the attached map exhibit. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED AND DECREED that the above described roads are hereby named Wishing Well Lane, Watermill Way, Star Harbor Road, Saltee Way, Pepper Hill Lane, Misty Morning Lane, Stillpond Road, and Brown Pelican Lane.
