referred to as "County," and MODERN BUS I NESS SYSTEMS. INC.

WHEREAS, County advertised for bids for

and bids were received and opened as required by law; and
WHBREAS,
after careful consideration of the bid
submitted by Vendor, the Board of County Commissioners of New
Hanover County has adopted a resolution authorizing the
acceptance of such bid and the execution of a contract with
Vendor covering the purchase and delivery of

in consideration of the mutual bene-
fits inuring to the parties hereto, said parties covenant and
agree as foll.ows:

RESOLUTION
OF THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF
NEW HANOVER COUNTY
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting held on February 20,
1984, the Board of Commissioners agreed that a representative of
the Wilmington City Council serve on the New Hanover County
Airport Commission as a voting member; and
WHEREAS, the Restated Resolution of the Board of
Commissioners establishing the Airport Commissioners only
provides for seven members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the "Restated
Resolution--Airport Commission" dated July 17, 1978, is hereby
amended as follows:
1. Amend paragraph 1, first sentence, to read:
"Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes Section 63-53, there
is hereby created the New Hanover County Airport Commission, to
consist of eight (8) members, each of whom shall be a resident in
the County, of the age of twenty-one (21) years or more."
2.
Amend paragraph 1, third sentence, to read:
"One
member of the Airport Commission shall be a member of the Board
of Commissioners of New Hanover County, and ~qother member shall
be a member of the Wilmington City Council."
3.
Amend paragraph 2, fourth sentence, to read:
"The
members representing the Board of Commissioners of New Hanover
County and the Wilmington City Council shall be appointed

RESOLUTION OF INTENT
TO CLOSE A PUBLIC ROAD

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed pursuant to G. S. l53A-
241, requesting the Board of Commissioners of New Hanover County
to close the following described public road:
BEGINNING at a concrete right of way marker in the Western
end of N. C. Highway #133 (Old u.S. Highway #117 right of way),
said right of way marker being located South 00 degrees 16
minutes 45 seconds East 140.0 feet, North 89 degrees 43 minutes
15 seconds East 76.10 feet, North 30 degrees 20 minutes 30
seconds East 46.62 feet and North 88 degrees 24 minutes 30
seconds East 161.32 feet from the point of intersection of the
new right of way of Highway u.S. 421 where the same is
intersected with center line of u.S. Highway #117; Running thence
from said beginning point with the Southern right of way line of
U. S. Highway #117, North 83 degrees 46 minutes East 216.8 feet
to another right of way marker at the most Northeast end of N.C.
Highway #133; Running thence with the Eastern right of way line
of N. C. Highway #133 as it curves to the East to a point that is
located South 28 degrees 43 minutes 51 seconds West 375.87 feet
from the preceding point; Running thence crossing said N.C.
Highway #133, North 76 degrees 42 minutes 45 seconds West 80.0
feet to an iron pipe in the Western line of N.C. #133; Running
thence with the right of way line of N.C. Highway #133 as it
curves to the East to a point that is located North 17 degrees 16
minutes 15 seconds East 109.95 feet and North 24 degrees 27
minutes East 86.5 feet from the preceding point; Running thence
with the Western right of way line of N.C. Highway #133 as it
turns West North 00 degrees 18 minutes West 26.67 feet to another
right of way marker; Running thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes
34 seconds West 7.68 feet to another right of way marker; Said
right of way marker being located South 12 degrees 45 minutes 45
seconds East 79.83 feet from the point of beginning. Running
thence with the right of way line of N.C. Highway #133 as it
curves to the East to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board is
considering closing said road to public use, and that a public
hearing on this question will be held on the 21st day of May,
1984, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. in the Assembly Room of the County
Administration Building, 320 Chestnut Street, Wilmington, North
Carolina, at which time the Board will hear all interested
citizens and make a final determination as to whether the road
shall be closed.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the New Hanover
County Board of Commissioners on the 16th day of April, 1984.
