ITEM #2 – PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Bob McKoy opened the meeting to the public on the formal budget
ordinance. As no one had signed up to speak, the Chairman made a motion to close
the public hearing.

ITEM #3 - ADOPTION OF FY 2011-2012 BUDGET ORDINANCE
Chairman Bob McKoy called for the Board’s adoption of the formal budget
ordinance for FY 2011-2012.
[Motion made by Mayor David Cignotti, seconded by Sabina Newman and
unanimously carried to adopt the formal budget ordinance for FY 2011-2012
in the amount of $3,443,815. A copy of the ordinance is attached and located
in the Resolution/Ordinance book dated as of March, 2011.]
Discussion by Board:
Frank Jones made a suggestion that perhaps for FY 2012-2013 a full time person
could be hired to do Sports Marketing as the sports market is becoming more and
more popular in our area. Mikie Wall is doing a good job, however the work load is
becoming more prevalent. John Andrews said that perhaps the beach MAC
committees might assist in some way.
President/CEO Kim Hufham encouraged everyone to be at the Wednesday, July 6,
2011 full Board meeting for the Brandon Agency presentation on our new branding.
Very important that all be in attendance.
There being no further business to come before the Board, meeting adjourned at
5:15 p.m.
