NEW HANOVER, NORTH CAROLINA AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF
NEW HANOVER COUNTY ADOPTED
OCTOBER 6, 1969

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF NEW HANOVER COUNTY DOTH ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the County of New Hanover ado~ted
October 6, 1969, as amended be and the same is hereby further amended as follows:
1. Amend Article V, District Regulations Section 50-2, Table
of Permitted Uses to make Commercial Marina a Permitted
Use in 1-1 and 1-2 Industrial Districts and a Special Use
in B-1 Business Districts to read as follows:

2. Amend Article VII, Provisions For Uses Allowed As Special
Uses, Section 72-31, Commercial Marina as follows:

72-31 Commercial Marina - This type of use may be
permitted in any residential district or B-1
Business Districted provided:
3. Amend Article V, District Regulations Section 50-2, Table
of Permitted Uses, to remove the following uses from the
B-1 Business District:
R-20S R-20 R-15 R-10 B-2
Camping, Travel Trailer Parks S S-S-S-P
Indoor & Outdoor Recreation B-2 Shopping Center
Establishments Commercially P P
Operated
Indoor Theatre B-2 Shopping Center

Section 2. Any ordinance or any part of any ordinance in conflict with
this ordinance, to the extent of such conflict is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance is adopted in the interest of public health,
safety, morals, and general welfare of the inhabitants of the County of New
Hanover, North Carolina, and shall be in full force and effect from and after
. its adoption.
