HomeMy WebLinkAboutJune 3 PB Agenda NEW HANOVER COUNTY PLANNING & INSPECTIONS DEPARTMENT 230 GOVERNMENT CENTER DRIVE WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA 28403 TELEPHONE (910) 798-7165 FAX (910) 798-7053 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NEW HANOVER COUNTY PLANNING BOARD JUNE 3, 2010 The New Hanover County Planning Board will hold public hearings on Thursday, June 3, 2010 beginning at 5:30 p.m. or thereafter at the New Hanover County Historic Courthouse, 24 North Third Street (corner of Third and Princess Street), Room 301 in Wilmington, NC to consider the following items: Approval of the May Planning Board Meeting Minutes Item 1: Exceptional Design Zoning District (EDZD) Rezoning Request (Z-904, 6/10) 􀍴 Request by Flournoy Development Company, LLC to rezone approximately 17.93 acres at 7000, 7004, and 7008 Market Street; 1715, 1725, and 1731 Prospect Cemetery Road; and 75 Snug Harbour Drive from R-15 Residential District and B-2 Highway Business District to Exceptional Design Zoning District (EDZD). The site is classified as Watershed Resource Protection on the 2006 CAMA Land Classification Map. Item 2: Land Use Plan Amendment (LUP-13, 6/10) 􀍴 Request by David Ward to amend the def􀅝􀅶􀅝􀆚􀅝􀅽􀅶􀀃􀅽􀄨􀀃􀍞􀅵􀄂􀆌􀅝􀅶􀄂􀍟􀀃􀄂􀆐􀀃􀄚􀄞􀄨􀅝􀅶􀄞􀄚􀀃􀅝􀅶􀀃􀀄􀆉􀆉􀄞􀅶􀄚􀅝􀇆􀀃􀀄􀍗􀀃􀀘􀄞􀄨􀅝􀅶􀅝􀆚􀅝􀅽􀅶􀆐 of the 2006 Wilmington-New Hanover County CAMA Plan 􀆚􀅽􀀃􀄏􀄞􀀃􀄐􀅽􀅶􀆐􀅝􀆐􀆚􀄞􀅶􀆚􀀃􀇁􀅝􀆚􀅚􀀃􀆚􀅚􀄞􀀃􀄐􀅽􀆵􀅶􀆚􀇇􀍛􀆐􀀃􀇌􀅽􀅶􀅝􀅶􀅐􀀃􀄚􀄞􀄨􀅝􀅶􀅝􀆚􀅝􀅽􀅶. Technical Review Committee Report (May) The Planning Board may consider substantial changes in these petitions as a result of objections, debate, and discussion at the meeting, including rezoning to other classifications.
