APRIL 18, 1988
ASSEMBLY
The 1988 Board of Equalization and Review met on
Monday, April 18, 1988, at 9:28 o'clock A.M. in the Assembly
Room of the New Hanover County Administration Building, 320
Chestnut Street, Wilmington, North Carolina.

ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN FOR 1988 BOARD OF EQUALIZATION AND
REVIEW
Commissioner Barfield MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner
Retchin to elect Commissioner John M. Dolan as Chairman of
the 1988 Board of Equalization and Review. Upon vote, the
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

PUBLIC HEARING FOR RECOGNITION OF APPEALS
Tax Appraisal Supervisor, Jim Bethune, presented a list
of appeals received by the Tax Department stating Public
Notice had been given that appeals would be received through
this date.
Chairman Dolan opened the Public Hearing asking if
anyone present would like to present an appeal. No appeals
were presented.
Chairman Dolan closed the Public Hearing.
