The New Hanover County 1991 Board of Equalization and Review
met on Monday, May 20, 1991, at 9:06 o'clock A.M. in the Assembly
Room of the New Hanover County Courthouse, 24 North Third Street,
Wilmington, North Carolina.
Members present were:

Commissioner Robert G. Greer
Commissioner william H. Sutton
commissioner E. L. Mathews, Jr.
Chairman Fred Retchin
Chairman Retchin called the meeting to order.
OATHS OF OFFICE ADMINISTERED TO COMMISSIONER ROBERT G. GREER AND
COMMISSIONER WILLIAM H. SUTTON
Clerk to the Board, Lucie F. Harrell, administered the Oaths
of Office to Commissioner William H. Sutton and Commissioner Robert
G. Greer.
Copies of the Oaths of Office are on file in the Clerk's
office.
Tax Administrator Register stated since the last meeting of
the Board of Equalization and Review, nine (9) appeals have been
presented with a total of twenty-two (22) appeals. The additional
appellants were:

ADJOURNMENT
Motion: Commissioner Sutton MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner
Barfield to adjourn. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Chairman Retchin adjourned the meeting at 9:15 o'clock A.M.
with the appearance of Mr. Richard Marston at the regular
meeting of the Commissioners, but after the adjournment of the
Board of Equalization and Review, the Commissioners agreed to
accept appeals from all who filed appeals during the day of May 20,
