R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED THAT
The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners hereby supports and
urges the passage of the Committee Substitute for Senate Bill #539
now pending before the N C General Assembly and that a copy of
this Resolution be delivered to appropriate officials of the North
Carolina General Assembly and to the elected Representatives and
Senator from New Hanover County

RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE
OF
STEP II GRANT OFFER
WHEREAS New Hanover County has acted as the Lead Agency for
preparation of a 201 Facility Plan under the provisions of the Federal
Water Pollution Cont rol Act Amendments of 1972 (PL 92-500), and
WHEREAS Said plan has been conditionally approved by the
North Carolina Division of Environmental Management and the U S Environ-
mental Protection Agency, and
WHEREAS The U S Environmental Protection Agency has made a
Step II (design) grant of ter in the amount of $86,377 to the County of
New Hanover for preparation of plans and specifications for a portion of
the proposed waste treatment facilities,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT The New Hanover County
Board of Commissioners does hereby accept the above referenced grant offer
in accordance with the provisions and conditions stipulated therein

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, ADOPTING, APPROVING, ACCEPTING AND RATIFYING
THE EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT NO 6-37-0084-03 BETWEEN
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND The New Hanover County Board of
Commissioners
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of New Hanover County
SECTION 1 That said Commissioners hereby authorize, adopt, approve,
accept and ratify the execution of Grant Agreement in the amount of
$1,098,900 between the Federal Aviation Administration on behalf of
the United States of America and the New Hanover County Board of
Commissioners
SECTION 2 That the execution of said Grant Agreement in quadruplicate
on behalf of said Commissioners by Claud O'Shields, Jr Chairman
and the impression of the official seal of the New Hanover County
Commissioners and the attestation of said execution by Alyce Brown,
Clerk to the Board, is hereby authorized, adopted, approved, accepted
and ratified
SECTION 3 That the Airport Manager is hereby authorized to execute
payment request under this Grant Agreement on behalf of said Commissioners
of New Hanover County
SECTION 4 That the Grant Agreement referred to hereinabove shall be
attached hereto and made apart of this Resolution as though it were
fully copied herein
