ASSEMBLY
The New Hanover County Board of Equalization and Review held a meeting on June 19,
2000, at 12:07 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the New Hanover County Courthouse, 24 North Third
Street, Wilmington, North Carolina.
Members present were: Commissioner Buzz Birzenieks; Commissioner Ted Davis, Jr.;
Commissioner Charles R. Howell; Vice-Chairman Robert G. Greer; Chairman William A. Caster;
County Manager, Allen O'Neal; County Attorney, Wanda M. Copley, and Clerk to the Board, Lucie
F. Harrell.
Chairman Caster called the meeting to order and requested Tax Administrator, Robert
Glasgow, to present the list of appeals.
Tax Administrator Glasgow reported that the following taxpayers scheduled to appear before
the Board of Equalization and Review have withdrawn their appeals:

Tax Administrator Glasgow requested the Board of Equalization and Review to accept the
withdrawal of appeals and assessed values as presented.
Chairman Caster called for a motion.
Motion: Vice-Chairman Greer MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner Howell, to approve
withdrawal of the appeals and assessed values as presented by the Tax Administrator. Upon vote,
the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
MEETING RECESSED
Chairman Caster recessed the Board of Equalization and Review meeting at 12: 17 p.m.
