1977-04-04 RM Exhibits ~,- sii'4 ~` ~ ~~ STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF NEW HANOVER IN THE MATTER OF CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROAD a:,u~ iG'J5 DACE 91U BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS nanaa It appearing to the Board of County Commissioners of New Hanover County that a resolution of the County Commissioners of New Hanover County of intent to close that portion of MacRae Avenue in Villa View of New Hanover County, North Carolina, running from Dick Avenue to Burke Avenue for a distance of two hundred and sixty (260) feet, was adopted by the County Commissioners on the 21st day of February , 1977, and it further appearing that said resolution called fora hearing to be held on the 4tn day of April 1977, at which time the County Commissioners would hear complaints and comments of interested ~ ~ persons, and it further appearing that notice of said hearing was published in the ~ Wilmington Star-News Newspaper in accordance with General Statutes 153-A-241, and no 8 objections were raised to the closing of said public road, and the County Commissioners are of the opinion that said public road in the County of New Hanover should be closed r~ and removed from dedication and the closing of same is in the public interest, the legal description of said street being as follows BEING all of the fifty (50) foot right-of-way of MacRae Avenue lying between the eastern line of Dick Avenue and the western line of Burke Avenue as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 52 at Page 563 of the New Hanover County Registry NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AND DECREED that the above described road be, and the same is hereby closed and removed from dedication It is further ORDERED that a copy of this order be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds of New Hanover County, North Carolina Thi s the ~ '' =~r- day of ~,h~,ptEt; ~0.~` , .~. , ~ ~. .~, t ~~ c ATTES ~ ~~- ~ ~, ~~` ,a , County Cll erk ~=.
