NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the above-referenced proclamation for a local state of emergency is hereby terminated effective immediately. ADOPTED, this the 26th day of July, 2010. s a ? Section 2: The water main break has resulted in a loss of water and/or water pressure I throughout the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority's service area requiring emergency conservation efforts be imposed immediately to protect the health, safety, and j sanitary conditions in New Hanover County. 3 i Section 3: The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority(CFPUA) has implemented mandatory water conservation measures. At this time all customers are advised that CFPUA has increased its water use advisory to STAGE 4 MANDATORY WATER USE RESTRICTIONS which prohibits all outdoor and non-essential use until further notice. Violations can result in citations of $500 for each occurrence and/or disconnection. As a result in the pressure loss, customers are being advised to boil water prior to consuming. j Section 4: I, Jonathan Barfield, Jr., Vice-Chairman, New Hanover County Board of Commissioners, declares a State of Emergency in New Hanover County. During the state of emergency, citizens are urged to comply with emergency management advisories as issued by the County or the Authority. j Section 5: This proclamation shall become effective immediately and remain in effect until the state of emergency is rescinded.
