appeared for a joint, discussioi, of the Co7.ored libral,ys' proposed move to new quarters and

? approve the proposed budget for $2,500.00 each by the City and Coui.ty, and leave the matter
of moving to r.ew quarters er.tirely in the hands of the T.ibrary 3oard of-Trustees.
Mr. Davis said he was not in favor of moving the ?iUrary to the nevi quarters on ned Cross
Street betweeii 6th and 7th streets, ai.d asked for an investigation of the ?,ibrary Board's
authority in taking such action in regard to its budget and proposed move. Dr. F. Vi. Avar.t

officers were asked to -ieave tneir sigr.atures on a piece of paper at the gate to enable
the Athletic Association to ascertain the names ar.d number of officers going ii,to the
Stadium, which appeared to nave stemmed from an increase in charges made bq the police
from $5._00 to 010.00 per night for their services to mair.tain order at the Stadium.
