1. Call to Order Richard Collier
2. Discussion: Table of Permitted Uses Ken Vafier
Staff presentation and Board discussion of staff’s effort to
improve the Table of Permitted Uses and sync uses with
the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS)
3. Discussion: High Density Districts Chris O’Keefe
Staff led discussion regarding options for foregoing the special
use process for high density projects.
4. Discussion: City of Wilmington-New Hanover County Karyn Crichton
Comprehensive Greenway Plan
Staff will give an introduction to the final version of the Greenway
Plan. The plan is scheduled to be considered during the 2/7/13
Planning Board meeting.
5. Presentation: FOCUS: Regional Plan for Sustainable Development Al Sharp
Presentation on the effort to create a regional plan for sustainable Adrienne Cox
development for Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender Counties.
An update on the project, branded as FOCUS, will be given by FOCUS
Executive Director, Al Sharp and FOCUS Project Manager, Adrienne Cox.
6. Update: New Hanover County Comprehensive Plan Shawn Ralston
Staff will provide an update on the County’s effort to
create a Comprehensive Plan.
