Thanks, Jim From: Sosebee, Thomas Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 1:04 PM To: Iannucci, Jim Cc: Davis, Matt Subject: RE: ANCHORS BEND JIM, MATT WANTS THE BOND AT $5000.00 EACH FOR THE HYDRANTS PLUS ANYTHING THAT MAY HAVE TO BE TAKING CARE OF TO MEET THE FLOW REQUIRMENTS, 1000 GPM. TOM From: Iannucci, Jim Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 12:02 PM To: Craig, Jim; Sosebee, Thomas Cc: Davis, Matt; Burgess, Sam Subject: RE: ANCHORS BEND Tom, We received a revised estimate yesterday from the engineer, Larry Sneeden, that included bonding of two fire hydrants in the amount of 2X$2500=$5000. We have not yet approved this revised estimate but the total was reduced from $40,514.88 to $33,562.72 and they intend to keep the higher bond amount on record. Please advise if Fire Services is in agreement with the bonding of the two fire hydrants. This is to be a COW water system so it would be my understanding that the bond is to cover the testing of the hydrants only. Thanks, Jim From: Craig, Jim Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 11:50 AM To: Sosebee, Thomas Cc: Davis, Matt; Iannucci, Jim; Burgess, Sam Subject: RE: ANCHORS BEND Tom I'm not sure of the flows on this system, I suspect it will produce 10020, this system was part of the "old Dobo" system now operated by the COW. To our knowledge, the water system for this phase is installed, however I will differ to the City for the extent of the work/activation and flows. Contact me if additional questions arise. Thanks Jim From: Sosebee, Thomas Sent: Friday, December 28, 2007 9:35 AM To: Craig, Jim Cc: Davis, Matt Subject: ANCHORS BEND JIM, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE WATER SITUATION IS FOR THIS DEVELOPMENT. DO WE HAVE AT LEAST 1000 GPM WITH THE ADDITION TO THE SYSTEM OUT THERE? WE ARE HAVING THE DEVELOPER BONDING THE 2 NEW HYDRANTS, DO WE NEED TO HAVE THE WATER BONDED ALSO?? IF WE NEED TO BOND, PLEASE CC YOUR RESPONSE TO SAM. THANKS, TOM
