I did a site visit and reviewed the requested memo & plan review. The following items were observed.
1. The roadway is graveled in. Per the contractor on-site the road will be paved next week.
2. All the fire hydrants are in as shown on the plan, however they are bagged and per Jim Craig, they are not
turned on
3. Fire hydrants need to be flow tested
4. All other items are completed.

place for Phase 1.
Upon receipt of the stormwater certification from the engineer and field verification of the stormwater for Phase 1,
Engineering is prepared to sign the plat.

Sam -
I made a site visit late yesterday afternoon. Castle Hayne Fire Dept. conducted flow testing on the hydrants
through out the developement and one hydrane along N. College Road. It appears we have plenty of water at this
site for fire protection purposes. The front Phase of the project is fully paved, up to & including the cut through
between the main loop road. The back half is graveled in, but not paved. Fire Services has no reason to hold -up
any bond release on the front phase or the release of turning power onto this area. Any questions, please feel
