My TRC comments:
1. No sewer capacity available until the Motts Creek and Barnards Creek PS are upgraded
2. The Authority recently approved a dry sewer permit application so this developer can install
the sewer on Appomattox Drive from Manassas Drive to Lt. Congleton Drive before the developer
of Tarin Woods paves that section of road.
3. The sewer system design should incorporate future service to the streets in Battle Park –
Shiloh,
Gettysburg, Appomattox, Chancellorsville, etc
4. Water service will be an extension of the 12 inch water main being installed by the developer
of Tarin Woods
5. DWQ is strictly enforcing the minimum 50 foot rule from a manhole to any wetlands – this site
has to send
its sewer flow to the Tarin Woods site – the proposed sewer design and manholes near the large
wetlands area
are a potential design problem to be worked out.
6. The water and sewer on Appomattox should be extended to the southern site boundary for
future service to the south.

This will prevent having to work in this site at a later date to extend those utilities.
7. Need a manhole and sewer extension to Shiloh at the new proposed Chicamauga Drive.
8. All private rights-of-way are to be dedicated for public utility purposes.
9. Need 10 foot utility easement along all lot frontages.
10. Fire hydrant spacing is 500 feet in residential.
