THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into on the last date executed bdmw, by and between the
North Carolina Department of Transportation, an agency of the State of North Carolina, hereinafter
referred to as the "Department", and the New Hanover County, hereinafter referred to as the
WHEREAS, the Department and the County on11/14/ 012.entenmdim0omoertamprojectAgreemen
for the original scope: on-road bicycle lanes on CoW| Farm Road and Red Cedar Roed, and an off-
road multi-use path along Middle Sound Loop Road from the end of the 8RTS0R-5OO18O Project in
New Hanover County. This Project will link with the already constructed Cross City Trail,
programmed under Project EB'S543; and.
WHEREAS, the parties entered into Supplemental Agreements on4/5/ 013amd12/11/2014tore*ise
the scope, funding, and completion date of the Project; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish hu revise the scope and extend the completion date of the Project-,
NOW THEREFORE, the parties wish to supplement the aforementioned Agreement whereby the
following provisions are amended:

The Project consists of on-road bicycle lanes on Red Cedar Road, and an off-road multi-use path or
sidewalk along Middle Sound Loop Road in accordance with the scope specified in the supplemental
for SR-5001 BO, The scope includes the portion within the SRTS Project, an on-road path along
Oyster Road and Bright Leaf Road, and a pedestrian bridge connecting bz Thais Trail.
The completion date for activities ia revised from Q/3O/3to6/1QV15. and the
completion date of the Project is revised from 12/31/14 to 2126/16.
Except as hereinobove provided, the Agreement heretofore executed by the Department and the
County on11M4/ 012.amdrevmedon4/5/2013and12111/2014`ianatifiedondaffirmedouWheron

IN WITNESS VVHEREDF, this Agreement has been exenuted, in duplicate, the day and year
heretofore set out, on the part of the Department and the County by authority duly given.
