Overall Update- Changes made to schedules are that 5% RMSF have been included in numbers
Discussion of entity renewals
Airport Authority:
Pollution is always included in Hull/ P&I which was added when the boat was quoted
Airport had issues with this; therefore a form was created acknowledging the rejection
of pollution coverage
Flat or 5% renewal for airport operators which renews in August
Package w/NCACC- doesn’t write GL; Property Insurance is major reason NCACC is used for Airport
due to wind coverage
Workers Compensation getting other quotes due to high premium w/NCACC; may save $1000’s
Board of Education- is large enough to be self-insured for WC; agency was
changed
Safety officer has quarterly meetings; focus on cafeteria workers
Rest of policies are routine; garage liability also covers non-owned buses/vehicles etc
Southeastern Center
for MH- auto exposure has reduced; NCACC is main reason for Property due to Wind; similar to Airport
Very few claims
NHSWCD: created by General Statute; under county policy insured for
general liability; has own WC policy; getting a quote on own Package policy (NCACC says they’re too small to cover)

Moore and Johnson
presented the renewal for New Hanover County:
25% increase in law enforcement head count, possibly because incorrectly reported last year.
4% increase in auto.
Total overall increase
9.6 %
Trying to get insurance company to manuscript a form to cover confiscated property from law enforcement. Will advise decision at a further date.
Loss limit for storm is $25,000,000

mil limitation with a 5% deductible, not a named storm deductible, just wind coverage.
