HomeMy WebLinkAboutWaterstone Community Meeting Notice 330 Military Cutoff, Suite A3, Wilmington, NC 28405 - 910.392.4355 March 16, 2016 To: Adjacent Property Owners From: Josh Mihaly Re: Waterstone Development – EDZD Zoning Classification – Community Meeting This letter is to provide notice of a pending rezoning application for the 86 acres of land (see right) contained by Edgewater Club Road, Porters Neck Road and Pages Creek from R-20 to Exceptional Design Zoning District (EDZD). Notification to all adjacent property owners within 500 feet of the parcel is required by New Hanover County Ordinance. The developer is interested in pursuing the EDZD zoning classification for the tract. The EDZD zoning is a unique zoning classification that allows more creative design flexibility while fostering conservation, open space, pedestrian circulation patterns and low impact development techniques. To review the proposed application and preliminary site plans, please join the design team for a community meeting. Two meetings will be held on Thursday, March 31st, 2016, at 12:00pm and 6pm, at the Ogden Fire Station (7375 Market Street).
