Comments on Colonial Ridge:
1.
A TIA is not required for this project.
2.
Roads within the Colonial Ridge subdivision should be public as they are proposed to connect to existing NCDOT
roads and future public roads within the Tarin Woods subdivision.
3.
The proposed collector street (Appomattox Drive) should be extended to the existing section of Appomattox Drive,
which is an NCDOT maintained road (SR 1640). Collector streets do not typically dead end as shown on the plan.
4.
Chickamauga Drive should be extended to Shiloh Drive with this project. From the tax records, it appears that the
right-of-way currently exists.
5.
Sidewalks should be constructed along all road stubs.
