RE: Z-957 – Conditional Use Zoning District – Woodridge Pointe Apartments
Ms. Wolf,
At their April 14, 2016 meeting, the Planning Board voted (7-0) to approve your application to
rezone 5.8 acres of land located at the 5000 block of Carolina Beach Road from R-15, Residential
District, to (CUD) R-10, Conditional Use Residential District. The Planning Board also voted (7-0)
to approve the companion Special Use Permit (SUP) for a high density development consisting of
80 dwelling units. The following conditions were placed on the SUP:
1. A traffic impact analysis (TIA) shall be required if any combination of land uses which access
from the 50’ private access easement (including off-site uses) exceed 100 peak hour trips.
The application is tentatively scheduled to be heard by the Board of Commissioners at their
regularly scheduled meeting on May 2nd.
