Item 1: Review of Regular Items
Item 1: Zoning Ordinance Amendment Request (TA17 -01) – Request by
Design Solutions to amend Article VI and Article VII of the Zoning Ordinance
regarding the setback, height, and buffer requirements for high density
developments.
Item 2: Rezoning Request (Z-958M, 3/17) – Request by Design Solutions on
behalf of the property owner, Lawrence Lawson Heirs, to rezone 6.9 acres
located at 4713 Carolina Beach Road, from (CUD) R -10, Conditional Use
Residential District, to (CUD) R-10, Conditional Use Residential District, and
for a Special Use Permit for a high density development consisting of 96
dwelling units.
Item 3: Rezoning Request (Z17-01) – Request by Design Solutions on behalf
of the property owner, College Road Development Partners, LLC, to rezone
8.04 acres located at the 2600 block of N. College Road, fro m (CUD) R-10,
Conditional Use Residential District, to (CZD) B -2, Conditional Highway
Business District, in order to develop a mini-warehouse use.
Item 4: Special Use Permit Request (S17-01) – Request by Design Solutions
on behalf of the property owner, Church of God of Prophecy, for a Special Use
Permit in order to operate a personal care facility on 6.87 acres of land located
at 1380 N. College Road.
