NEW HANOVER COUNTY TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE (TRC)
The New Hanover County TRC assists the development community to ensure that plans meet required technical standards for
New Hanover County. The TRC meets twice each month, with the exception of December. Application deadlines are four
weeks prior to each scheduled TRC meeting.

1. Applicants are strongly urged to arrange a pre-plan meeting on the date of submission during a regularly scheduled
TRC meeting. Pre-plan discussions may take place immediately after the regular agenda of the TRC meeting concludes.
2. All regularly scheduled meetings are held on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the New Hanover County Government
Center, 230 Government Center Drive unless otherwise noted.
3. Agency review comments will be emailed to applicants prior to the scheduled meeting date.
4. Copies of the New Hanover County Mobile Home Park Regulations, Subdivision Regulations, Zoning Ordinance,
Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and CAMA Land Use Plan may be obtained from the Department of Planning & Land
Use. The above information, in addition to development activity and applications, can also be found on the New
Hanover County website at https://planning.nhcgov.com.
