Box 15997 Wilmington, NC 28408 RE: Revised Approval of the Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) associated with the proposed BRC Castle Hayne Development New Hanover County, NC The WMPO, NCDOT, and New Hanover County staffs have reviewed the BRC Castle Hayne Development TIA dated November 28, 2018. This development consist of: Phase 1  216 Multi-family Housing Units  Build Year 2021 Full Build  360 Multi-family Housing Units (includes Phase 1)  Build Year 2023 Based on review of the analysis provided in the TIA report, the following improvements are required by the developer: Phase 1 NC 133 (Castle Hayne Road) at North Kerr Avenue  Provide a new signal plan (AM and PM peak timings) to NCDOT for review and approval by the Division Traffic Engineer. This is required so that the installation of the signal plan by Division Traffic can occur prior to Phase 1 Certificates of Occupancy. If the proposed timing plan hinders NC 133, it will be discontinued. 2 NC 133 (Castle Hayne Road) at Existing Site Access  No improvements recommended. Full Build NC 133 (Castle Hayne Road) at North Kerr Avenue  No improvements recommended. NC 133 (Castle Hayne Road) at Existing Site Access  No improvements recommended. If changes are made to the proposed site driveways and/or use, the current trip distribution may need to be modified and would require a revised Traffic Impact Analysis to be submitted for review by the NCDOT, WMPO, and New Hanover County. This approval would become null and void. The applicant is required to obtain all applicable New Hanover County and NCDOT permits for access to the road network. A copy of this TIA approval shall be included with any NCDOT driveway permit application. All applicable NCDOT and New Hanover County technical standards and policies shall apply.
