ASSEMBLY
The District Board of the New Hanover County Water & Sewer
District held a Special Meeting on Wednesday, February 24, 1993, at
3:41 P.M. in the Williston Auditorium of the New Hanover County
Museum, 814 Market Street, Wilmington, North Carolina.
Members present were: District Commissioners William A.
Caster; Robert G. Greer; William E. Sisson, Jr.; Vice-Chairman
Sandra Barone; Chairman E. L. Mathews, Jr.; County Manager, Allen
O'Neal; County Attorney, Wanda M. Copley; and Clerk to the District
Board, Lucie F. Harrell.
Chairman Mathews called the Special Session to order and
stated the purpose of the meeting is to adopt a resolution
authorizing the issuance of $28,565,000 General Obligation
Refunding Bonds, Series 1993.
Chairman Mathews introduced the resolution authorizing the
issuance of the bonds.
Motion: Chairman Mathews MOVED, SECONDED by Vice-Chairman Barone
to adopt the resolution authorizing the issuance of $28,565,000
General Obligation Refunding Bonds for the Water & Sewer District
as introduced and presented. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.
A copy of the resolution is hereby incorporated as a part of
the minutes and is contained in W&S Exhibit Book II, Page 7.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion: District Commissioner Greer MOVED, SECONDED by Vice-
Chairman Barone to adjourn. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.
Chairman Mathews adjourned the meeting at 3:44 P.M.
