Present: Mr. i\cidison Hewlett, Chairman, Dr. J. C. Wessell, Dr.
I:. Houston Moore and ],Iayor Pro Tem ,','. Ronald Lane.
The minutes of the last meetinG were read and approved.
The Health Officer presented the monthly reports.
It was moved by Dr. Wessell, seconded by Dr. Loore, that !ill'. Roland
and the Secretary draft suitable resolutions on the death of Mayor
CdIlleron and that a copy be sent to the family, to the press and one
spread upon the minutes of the Board of Health. Carried.
The Heal th Officer re ,uested and received the Board's 1ip;lroval on
the Typhus Control Unit proceetling with the proofing of a nUJilber of
buildings.
"t the Health Officer's re'Luest it was moved by Mayor Lane, seconded
by Dr. Wessell, that Doctors Moore and Wessell serve on a committee
with the Health Officer to take whatever action miZht become nec-
essary regarding the infantile paralysis situation. This motion
carried '-illU the committee "as given the power to act officially.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

BOard of Health and in this capacity he served fcithfully alVJo.Ys exerting
his best efforts for the advancement Uld maintenance of the heo.lth and
welfare of this community.
i\ccepting membership on this Board as one of his civic duties he shovJed
a deep interest in its work and was "t all tinJes prepared to bring about
proper cooperdion bet\Jeen the City Council Wld this Board.
I>S he always worked untirinely for the advancement of all resources of
this cOfimunity,he likewise recognized the value dnd necessity of a healthy
City and County and so devoted his energies to lTIaintaining the efficiency
of the health iwrkers thereby ass is tine in the reduction of disease and
lm,ering the mortality rate. We feel that VJe have indeed lost a valued
member.
NOVI, therefore, be it resolved, that a copy of this resolution be sent
to the family of l"r. Cameron, a copy be sent to the press end a copy spread
on the minutes of our B01lrd.
