hr. 'dm. B. Campbell and Hr. Ilarsden Bellamy, Cito' :md County Attorneys
respectfully, met with the mewbers of the Board and discussed rather
fully the R1'ecial ice cream ret;ulA-Uons ''ihich are to be tested in COlLY't,.

Ill'. Edwards and Dr. Elliot were instructed to get together any materials
and written statements pertaining to this ordinance and present them to
Mr. Campbell and Hr. Bellamy.

The Ikllth LJfficer wc.s also instructed to secure, if po"sible, state'",mts
on these same ice cream r"8ulations from prominent officials such as
State Health LJificer and the Director of Publip. H~alth at the University
of North Carolina.
Dr. vlessell discussed briefly the amount paid to the members of the Board
for attending the Board meetinGS. Ile said, personally, he was not interested
in the amount, but that he fdt the dignity and ir"portance of the Board
memb~rs attendinG meetinGS should be paid on a basis similar to other mem-
b"rs of official boards most of "hom are paid ,;IO.OO 1'''1' meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
