HELD IN OFFICE OF BOARD

Present: 111'. Adoison Hewlett, Chairman; Nayor Royce S. HcClelland,
Hr. H. H. lioland and Dr. J. C. Knox.
Before the business meeting Hiss Bayley, HI'S. Highsmith and Hiss
Rebekah Johnson presented their skit on the nurses part in tubercu-
losis control \/ork,
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Health Officer present~d the monthly reports.

The Health Ufficer prescr~ed for the consideration of the Board members
the 1949-1950 budget as set up on available funds. Each item was routine
except in the cases of Mr. Biddle and Mi~s Bolyn. The budget was approv-
ed as presented lath the understanding that thp. $10.00 per month raise
for Hiss Bolyn would be subject to the approval of the State Departments
of Health and Education as it was to come out of school health funds.

The Health Ufficer asked the Board members to be thinking about the de-
sirability of raising Mr. HassI salary out of funds set up for Mr. John
V. Williamson, Jr., resigned, if a Trainee or Junior Sanitarian could
be found to succeed Hr. 'i'/illiamson.
There being no further business the meetinG adjourned.
