SPECIAL MEETING OF JUNE 4, 1984
ASSEMBLY
A Special Meeting of the New Hanover County Water and
Sewer District was held on Monday, June 4, 1984, at 7 50
o'clock P M in the Assembly Room of the New Hanover
County Administration Building, Wilmington, North
Carolina
Members present were Commissioners Jonathan
Barfield, Sr; Donald P Blake; Nolan O'Neal; Vice-
Chairman Karen E Gottovi; Chairman Claud O'Shields,
Jr ; County Manager G Felix Cooper; County Attorney
Robert W Pope; and Clerk to the District, Lucie F

Chairman O'Shields called the meeting to order
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING, MAY 21, 1984
Vice-Chairman Gottovi MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner
Blake to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of
May 21, 1984, as presented Upon vote, the MOTION
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
PUBLIC HEARING - 1984/85 BUDGET FOR NEW HANOVER COUNTY
WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
Chairman O'Shields stated Public Notice had been
given on the proposed 1984/85 Water & Sewer District
Budget giving all interested citizens an opportunity to
comment
Commissioner Barfield MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner
Blake to open the Public Hearing
Chairman O'Shields asked if anyone wished to comment
on the proposed budget The following person commented

Commissioner O'Neal MOVED, SECONDED by Vice-Chairman
Gottovi to close the Public Hearing

1984/85 Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
