Members present were Commissioners Jonathan Barfield, Sr: John Dolan; Nolan O'Neal; Fred Retchin Chairman Claud O'Shields, Jr; County Manager G Felix Cooper; County Attorney Robert W Pope; and Clerk to the Board, Lucie F Harrell. Chairman O'Shields called the meeting to order A PROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED Commissioner Barfield to approve the minutes of Special Meeting of December 3, 1984, as presented vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY by the Upon I Commissioner Barfield MOVED, Commissioner O'Neal to approve the Special Meeting December 17, 1984, as vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY SECONDED minutes of presented. by the Upon A OPTION OF SEWER USE ORDINANCE After discussion, Commissioner Barfield MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner Retchin to adopt the Sewer Use Ordinance. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY A copy of the Ordinance is contained in Exhibit Book I, Page 15 ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR REPLACEMENT OF SHRUBBERY AND OTHER ITEMS ALONG STREET RIGHTS-OF-WAY After discussion, Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner Dolan to adopt a resolution with an amendment to Paragraph 2 inserting the word nstreet right-of-wayn to establish a policy for replacement of shrubbery and other items along street rights-of-way Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY I 56 r ~, = = ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CERTAIN STREET RIGHTS-OF-WAY IN THE SEAGATE NEIGHBORHOOD After discussion, Commissioner Dolan MOVED, SECONDED by Commissioner Retchin to adopt a resolution for acceptance of certain street rights-of-way in the Seagate neighborhood to allow the construction and maintenance of a sewer system Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY C GE OF CLERK'S NAME The Clerk to the District reported she had remarried and her name had been officially changed to Lucie F Harrell requesting the record to reflect that Lucie F Harrell and Lucie F Smith are one and the same person A JOURNMENT Commissioner Barfield Commissioner Retchin to adjourn the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY MOVED, SECONDED by the meeting Upon vote, Chairman O'Shields adjourned the meeting at 9 18 o'clock A M ~:/~~tted' Lucie F Harrell Clerk
