A regular meeting of the New Hanover County Water &
ewer District was held on Monday, April 15, 1985, at
12 o'clock P M in the Assembly Room of the New
anover County Administration Building, 320 Chestnut
treet, Wilmington, North Carolina
Members present were Commissioners Jonathan
arfield, Sr; John Dolan; Nolan O'Neal; Fred Retchin;
hairman Claud O'Shields, Jr; County Manager, G Felix
ooper; County Attorney, Robert W Pope; and Clerk to

Chairman O'Shields called the meeting to order
PPROVAL OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Commissioner Barfield MOVED, SECONDED by
ommissioner Dolan to approve the minutes of the Regular
eeting of the New Hanover County Water and Sewer
istrict on March 18, 1985, as presented Upon vote the
OTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
DOPTION OF PROJECT ORDINANCE AND BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR
EAGATE SEWER PROJECT
Finance Director Atkinson, presented a Project
rdinance and Budget Amendment making the Seagate Sewer
roject a Water and Sewer District Project instead of a
ounty project.

WARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO DELLINGER. INC. -
EAGATE SEWER PROJECT
Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED by
ommissioner O'Neal to award the construction contract
"n the amount of $1,389,265 to Dellinger, Inc of
onroe, N C authorizing the Chairman to execute the
greement. Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

APPROVAL OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN NEW HANOVER
COUNTY AND NEW HANOVER COUNTY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT
TO USE THE SAME CHECKING, SAVINGS, AND INVESTMENTS
ACCOUNTS
Commissioner Retchin MOVED, SECONDED by
Commissioner Barfield to approve an inter local agreement
between the County and Water and Sewer District to use
the same checking, savings, and investments accounts
Upon vote, the MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY
A copy of the interlocal agreement contained in
Exhibit Book I, Page 18
DISCUSSION OF BOND RATING MEETING
County Manager Cooper stated a meeting was being
held in New York with Standard's & Poors Corporation and
Moody's Investments Services for rating of the Water and
Sewer District on May 28 and 29, 1985
After discussion, it was the consensus of the
District to request Commissioner Retchin to accompany
County Manager Cooper
